Imagine immersing yourself in the pulsating energy of the weekly arts market at the historic Hin Bus Depot – a haven for art enthusiasts and culture seekers alike. Picture yourself browsing through eclectic artwork, unique clothing, custom poems and even tattoos, all while being serenaded by live music and tantalized by local delicacies. Amidst the tropical heat, find solace in the shade, perhaps even be coaxed into dancing by the infectious spirit of Aunty, a beloved figure amongst the locals. My experience extended beyond the market, as I wandered through the labyrinthine streets adorned with mesmerizing murals and street art. I eventually made my way to the iconic Clan Jetties of Penang. Along the journey, serendipity struck as I stumbled upon an old industrial building, now transformed into a captivating studio space.
