Urban Cycle - Fukuoka, Japan
Step into the vibrant tapestry of Fukuoka, Japan, where unexpected connections and unforgettable moments await. Amidst the lively atmosphere of my hostel, two young Japanese fellows, one a budding chef and the other an aspiring actor, offered me a culinary journey into the heart of sushi and sashimi. Their excitement was palpable as they captured my delight on camera for their social media, creating a cherished memory of shared discovery. Another serendipitous encounter I had was at a gyoza restaurant, where despite the language barrier, I bonded with a passionate chef over drinks and stories of our respective worlds. En route to a hidden shrine he recommended, I captured this photograph of a man cycling to work.
